The 28th annual event was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis, hosting 364 people from various contracting companies for the special event.
This year, Murphy Company took home two awards: 2021 Outstanding MEP Subcontractor Category A and 2020 Division I Safety Award. Also, as the winner of the 2019 ASA Safety Cup, Rick Reams, Vice President, Safety and Quality, presented this prestigious award to this year’s winner – Aschinger Electric.
Murphy Company continues to make great strides in its safety program and maintains the goal of working towards a company goal of Zero Injury Performance. Despite 2020 being a tumultuous year, the contractor always puts safety and employee well-being at the forefront. With these recognitions, Murphy sees that hard work and commitment to safety pays off.
The ASA Midwest Council judging for subcontractors was based on bid ethics and practice, safety policy and practices, job site supervision, communication, scheduling coordination, project relations, administrative procedures/paperwork, and quality workmanship.
