Murphy had an incredible time at McCarthy’s Construction 101: Empowering the Next Generation! This Construction 101 event is all about giving high school girls a hands-on introduction to the world of construction.
Participants were able to:
– Dive into the basic elements of various construction trades.
– Cultivate a safety-first mindset and gain self-confidence.
– Learn from seasoned industry mentors and McCarthy role models.
– Master teamwork and effective communication.
– Explore the multitude of career paths in construction for your future.
In partnership with McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., Murphy welcomed around 200 enthusiastic students from Pattonville, McCluer, and Granite City. Our interactive booths on sheet metal and piping were a hit with many kids eager to learn and explore this industry!
