Murphy Company had an amazing time at the #IBuiltThis Denver event hosted by ConstructReach yesterday!
The #IBuildThis Contest is an annual showcase inviting construction craft students and trainees to demonstrate their skills. Students explore various projects at different booths, forming groups and following instructions from industry professionals. This project-based contest provides them with practical experience in construction, fostering skill development. Held in a different city each year, Murphy Company participated in both #IBuiltThis Denver and last year’s contest. This initiative is supported by Build Your Future, an organization connecting students with the construction industry. Build Your Future and IBuiltThis aim to help students explore diverse construction specialties and find their niche in the field.
At the Murphy booth, students were able to bolt together HVAC ductwork that our shop prefabricated to give them hands-on experience. Here at Murphy we strive to educate the next generation about the trades and the many opportunities available within our industry. We’re already looking forward to next year!
