Murphy Featured at Holland Construction’s Safety Symposium!

Murphy Company is honored to be a leading voice in construction safety!

As Mental Health Awareness Month concludes, Murphy Company reminds you that mental health should be a priority all year, not just in May! Your mental health significantly impacts your physical and emotional well-being, so checking in regularly is essential. Try to create environments that support mental health and a healthy lifestyle. Our Vice President of Safety & Quality, Ricky Reams, recently spoke at a safety symposium to speak about mental health in the construction industry. Thank you to Holland Construction Services for organizing this symposium and hosting us!

At Murphy Company, we incorporate mental health into our monthly safety Toolbox Talks. These talks help us learn to recognize common signs and symptoms in ourselves and others and be mindful of the harmful effects of stigma. When we discuss mental health openly, we bring these conversations into the open. This helps us to support others by listening and assisting them in finding help. If you experience or witness mistreatment, alert a supervisor and contact your doctor for guidance. Utilize local and national resources dedicated to promoting good mental health in the construction industry.
