Murphy Company’s Colorado team participated in AFSP’s Out of the Darkness Walk at Berkeley Lake Park this past weekend, standing united with hundreds of fellow Coloradans in the mission to raise awareness and crucial funds for suicide prevention. It was a heartwarming day filled with the presence of individuals and families, all of whom have been touched by the cause in some way. The sense of community and shared purpose was palpable throughout the day, as people came together to honor loved ones, support one another, and work toward a brighter, more hopeful future.
The event offered moments of reflection, resilience, and connection, as walkers shared their personal stories and experiences, creating a supportive environment for all involved. Friends, family members, and even a few furry companions joined in.
Participating in the Out of the Darkness Walk was a meaningful way for Murphy Company to demonstrate our commitment to mental health and well-being, both in our community and beyond. We are honored to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and its incredible work in advancing research, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide.
This event is just the beginning, as we look forward to strengthening our partnership with AFSP and continuing to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by suicide. Together, we can help break the stigma around mental health, and bring hope to those who need it most. To learn more about AFSP and how you can get involved, visit their website at https://afsp.org.
