Prioritizing Jobsite Safety: Murphy Company’s Commitment During National Safety Week

It is National Safety Week, and here at Murphy, safety is more than just a priority — it is the foundation of everything we do. The well-being of our employees, partners, and clients is at the core of our culture, and we are proud to join construction firms across the nation in recommitting to the principles that keep our industry strong and our people safe.

Throughout this week, numerous construction firms are participating in a Safety Stand-Down, where work is paused to focus on critical safety practices. These moments allow teams to engage in Toolbox Talks, review site-specific risks, conduct inspections, and reinforce the importance of staying vigilant on every jobsite.

Tomorrow, May 7, Murphy will hold our own Stand-Down for Safety across our project sites. Our teams will lead on-site Toolbox Talks tailored to each location, addressing the unique risks and hazards present at each job. Together, we’ll be brainstorming proactive strategies to reduce risks, sharing lessons learned, and reinforcing the mindset that every accident is preventable when we work with care, communication, and accountability.

Safety is not just a week-long commitment for us — it is a value that guides our decisions year-round. We continuously invest in training, resources, and technologies to keep our jobsites safe and to ensure every team member returns home safely at the end of each day.

We are proud to stand alongside our peers during Construction Safety Week to raise awareness, strengthen practices, and empower our teams to speak up and take action. By working together, we can continue building a safer, stronger future for everyone.
