Murphy Company recently had the honor of celebrating the retirement of our Colorado Vice President of PreConstruction, Douglas Geist! After an impressive 40-year career in the industry – including 13 impactful years with Murphy – Doug is stepping into a well-earned next chapter as a full-time husband and father.
Murphy has benefited tremendously from Doug’s one-of-a-kind approach to preconstruction and design, incorporating all departments early on and employing best practices to ensure project success. Doug’s emphasis on cross-departmental integration and early involvement in design has consistently set projects up for success!
To honor Doug’s contributions, we gathered at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton, CO – a location that holds special meaning, as Doug led the preconstruction and design for the facility back in 2015. We presented Doug with a custom hand-crafted plaque, filled with messages and signatures from longtime clients, partners, and colleagues.
Doug, thank you for your incredible dedication, leadership, and service to Murphy Company. We wish you all the best in this exciting new chapter!
