CTE Month Spotlight: Building a Career as a Pipefitter

As CTE Month comes to a close, we’re shining a spotlight on what it takes to build a career as a Pipefitter.

At Murphy Company, we’re proud to offer a premium five-year Pipefitters Apprenticeship Program designed to set students up for long-term success. Apprentices gain 1,700 hours per year of paid, on-the-job training along with approximately 250 hours of classroom instruction annually. With a proven track record, most participants complete the program and move directly into rewarding careers.

Application requirements include:
– Official transcripts
– High school diploma or GED
– Proof of age (birth certificate or driver’s license)
– Records of prior work experience and/or trade school
– Veteran discharge papers (if applicable)
