From Training to Career: Plumbing Apprenticeships at Murphy Company

It’s CTE Month, and we’re back with Part 2 of our series – Careers in PLUMBING🔧🚰

Murphy’s plumbing apprenticeship is a five-year program designed to build real skills for a real career. Apprentices gain at least 1,700 hours of hands-on training each year, plus about 246 hours of classroom-related instruction to back it up. The program has a strong completion rate, and most graduates move straight into solid job placements.

Applicants must submit the following within 30 days of applying:
• Official transcripts
• High school diploma or GED
• Proof of age (birth certificate or driver’s license)
• Work history and/or trade school records
• Veteran discharge paperwork (if applicable)
