St. Louis – Stainless Steel Fabrication

Murphy Company is the industry leader in pre-fabrication services, providing the highest degree of quality control, increased productivity, scheduling advantages, and cost savings to our clients. Our significant investment in automation, cutting-edge equipment, technology, and training allows us to deliver exceptional workmanship on high-quality building components for the full range of piping, HVAC, and plumbing installations.

Our 22,000-square-foot fabrication facility often operates on a multiple-shift basis in order to meet aggressive schedules for our customers and maximize cost savings. Our steel pipe fabrication facilities offer cutting-edge equipment, the use of computer-aided design, and drafting technology. We closely coordinate purchasing, scheduling, and production and problem-solve before we are on the manufacturing floor or at the job site, minimizing downtime. We then leverage the cost-effectiveness of pre-fabrication through innovative project-delivery techniques. Our computerized scheduling systems and pre-planning services, ensure both materials and work crews are set to be fully deployed under optimal scheduling conditions.

Murphy Company regularly performs metal forming and heat treating, and automatic, semi-automatic, and manual welding for carbon steel, nickel alloy, Hastelloy, stainless steel, copper aluminum alloys, chrome, Monel, and other solid and clad weldable alloys. Pipe-cutting procedures are done by oxy-fuel, plasma arc, abrasive sawing, mechanical sawing, and “T” drill extrusions. We are fully qualified in shielded metal, gas metal, flux cored, gas tungsten, and submerged arc welding and have arc machine orbital welding and GTAW welding machines. We operate an on-site QA/QC Office and our ASME Approved Quality Program ensures the highest degree of reliability through ASME through “PP”, “S”, “U” and “R” ASME stamps.

At Murphy Company, personal injury, property damage, and resulting loss of production are not acceptable costs of doing business for us or our clients. We dedicate ourselves to achieving a zero-injury workplace at all times. Our focus on quality, safety, and customer service has made us an industry leader for more than 100 years.
The exacting high-purity manufacturing standards of the microelectronics industry demand detailed design and engineering, faultless fabrication, skilled installation, and proper documentation. And that’s an environment in which we excel.
