Washington University – Jolley Hall

Murphy Company partnered with Alberici to complete the renovation of the 2nd and 3rd floors, transforming them into modern science labs. Beyond the interior upgrades, the project included extending campus utilities through the building from adjacent tunnels and constructing a new mechanical penthouse on the roof to house advanced equipment.

The project was successfully completed while the building and campus remained fully operational, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruption. Murphy Company leveraged its state-of-the-art fabrication facilities to produce all piping and sheet metal offsite, streamlining installation and ensuring quality. Prefabricated racks and assemblies were skillfully hoisted through windows to their designated floors, overcoming logistical challenges with precision and efficiency.
