Murphy Company Volunteers Join 57th Annual Operation Clean Stream to Restore Meramec River!

Volunteers from our St. Louis headquarters gathered at the Meramec River on Sunday to participate in the 57th Annual Operation Clean Stream! Murphy Company has been participating in Operation Clean Stream for 16 years now, and we’ve been able to see the impact firsthand. Our team helped remove old barrels, tires, bags of trash, scrap metal, and even temporary fencing from the river and surrounding areas.

Operation Clean Stream is one of the country’s most significant and longest-running river restoration projects. Organized by Open Space STL, this program works to undo the harmful effects of flooding, littering, and the improper disposal of waste that accumulates throughout the year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in protecting our rivers!
And thank you to 3 Bridges Raft Rental for helping make this day possible!
