ST. LOUIS – On a nice sunny Sunday in June, a team of cyclists sporting a
lovely safety yellow with a bold Murphy M hit the pavement for St. Luke’s Hospital’s Tour de Wellness. St. Luke’s created this event to promote healthy living and raise awareness of the dangers of a sedentary lifestyle.
The team consisted of Chris Carter, Colin Carter, Rick Schmid, Carol Eichelberger, Bob Eichelberger, Dave Book, and Steve Harting. The team completed the 41 mile ride and was quite thankful for the much appreciated tailwind on the last 17 miles. With a focus on employee well-being, a love for volunteering and community service, and a lucrative health and wellness program, Murphy employees are happy to participate, support and give to these causes.
