Anheuser-Busch – Unitank Cellar Yeast Recovery

Throughout the years, Murphy Company has been contracted to do a plethora of jobs for Anheuser-Busch. For this project, in particular, we were contracted as the mechanical prime to install the dry hopping unitanks in their Fort Collins brewery. This project bid was based off of one-line P&IDs and laid out and executed in the field using the same P&ID drawings.

The project consisted of several parts: procurement and installation of 4000’ of schedule 5 stainless steel piping and associated fittings, fabrication of stainless steel hangers and skid manifold supports to accommodate piping, and owner-furnished Tuchenhagen valves, flow meters, and other miscellaneous process instrumentation. When operating in the food and beverage industry, our team follows special fabrication methods to maintain a clean area installation. We completed the project within the three-month schedule with no injuries and within budget.
