General Motors – Body Shop Van Upgrade

Murphy Company recently completed upgrades to the utility systems for model upgrades to the GMC van, which included modifications/additions to the weld water, compressed air, and lubrication systems. The complex portion of this project was the material handling in the existing body shop, which our team successfully accomplished by pre-planning and starting with the other portions of the project that occurred in the same physical space of the plant, regardless of the project phase. Thanks to our commitment to safety and safety culture, this project was completed with zero injuries, zero loss time, and zero recordable injuries.
