Murphy Company was hired by Crossland Construction to do the plumbing, piping, and HVAC installation for this three-story JeffCo Charter School. The project was completed in three months, a short turnaround, due to school starting in the fall.
Our team successfully installed a new VRF system (Daikin) that served all 25 classrooms. Two new large air handlers were installed to serve the gymnasium and new equipment was installed in the attic and on new mechanical pads outside.
Challenges occurred during this project due to the age of the building and getting equipment on time, but by preplanning and closely collaborating with Crossland Construction we were able to offset these challenges. Our team also did a lot of strategic planning and collaboration in order to get the large equipment into the tight working spaces. Be adapting and working together we were able to successfully complete this project.
