St. Louis MLS Soccer – CityPark Stadium

The CityPark Stadium project, a state-of-the-art, 22,423-seat soccer-specific venue located in St. Louis, Missouri, serves as the home of Major League Soccer’s (MLS) St. Louis City SC. Completed in November 2022 in preparation for the 2023 MLS season, the stadium is situated in the Downtown West neighborhood, adjacent to Union Station.

This project involved the installation of four rooftop units (RTUs), providing HVAC services to key areas including the main concourse club, suite lounge, team store, and south event space. Additionally, the scope included the installation of a makeup air unit for the main kitchen, two grease exhaust fans serving the kitchen and smoker, over 60 variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, and seven CRAC units for server room climate control. The project also encompassed the setup of 101 exhaust systems and 51 louvers throughout the stadium.

From a plumbing perspective, the project involved the installation of 342 water closets, 143 urinals, and 260 lavatories, along with the associated plumbing infrastructure, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient system to support the stadium’s large capacity and operational needs.
