Over the weekend volunteers from our Missouri office spent a day on the Meramec River participating in the country’s longest-running river restoration project – Operation Clean Stream. Our volunteers helped to remove several tires, fish nets, scrap metal, and multiple bags of trash from the river and surrounding shore.
Operation Clean Stream, organized by the Open Space Council for the St. Louis Region, works to undo the damage caused throughout the year by flooding, littering, and the unlawful dumping of debris. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help keep the Meramec River clean and enjoyable for all!
