Private Client – Purification Suite Expansion

Murphy Company was contracted by Howell Construction to build out a private client’s existing purification suite. This involved installing new floor drains, vents, and safety showers within a 1,800-square-foot space. Given the tight schedule, the underground work had to be completed swiftly to minimize disruptions to the client’s production. Our team worked closely with Howell Construction and the client to complete our scope of work in less than a week, ensuring minimal impact on daily operations.

The remaining work included installing process piping and HVAC ductwork to meet ISO 8 clean room standards. Due to the limited space, we adopted a design-assist approach for routing and installing all duct and process piping. Once again, we collaborated closely with the client on routing and fabrication to ensure precise installation. Murphy also installed a filtration skid, several small vessels, and a fume hood. Despite the challenging nature of this high-purity job in a confined space, we successfully met critical deadlines and delivered a high-quality product.
