Corden Pharma – Plant 3 – Phase 3 – Moderna Tank Farm Expansion

The Phase III Moderna Expansion project was completed in April 2022 in Boulder, Colorado, at Corden Pharma. Corden Pharma has been one of Murphy Company’s longest tenured customers in the Colorado Market. The project consisted of expanding the tank farm for Plant 3 to increase capacity of production for their customers. This was also the third phase of this project on the plant since 2020. The main challenges our project team ran into was completing the project within the tight schedule and budget. In the 6 months, we installed eight new tanks within Plant 3 that included process and utility piping to each tank. It was a well coordinated effort to communicate with all trades to complete the work safely. Throughout the course of all the project phases we had zero recordables.
