Schriever Space Air Force Base

Murphy Company was hired by Aleute Global Solutions, LLC to assist in a mechanical room upgrade at Schriever Space Air Force Base (formally Schriever Air Force Base). This project was located on the east side of Colorado Springs and the scope of work consisted of replacing the existing condensate pump receivers, hot water pumps, and heat exchangers. Due to scheduling and site access, we utilized our CAD department and piping prefabrication facilities. The hot water pumps were mounted on prefabricated skids along with pump accessories and piping. All equipment and piping arrived on-site and ready for installation. Murphy Company was also the prime contractor and managed the completion of the temperature controls, insulation, and commissioning.
